From the apartments it is a 250 meters walk to the beach via a family owned private path.And a five-minute walk in the other direction brings you to the main Calangute-Baga road. with all it's shops, restaurants and bars. Everything you need is just a short walk away—whether it’s a quick snack, a shopping spree, or a night out.

A homely ground floor apartment with a full kitchen and a garden balcony, in a quiet lane between Calangute and Baga. The beach is a two-minute walk away: out our gate, 30 meters down the lane, then along our family's path past the pool and my brother's Bongo shack, straight onto the sand.Couples and small families come back to Papaya year after year — one returning guest wrote that it "still feels just like home." Cook, nap, swim, repeat. Goa at your own pace.

"We had a very peaceful stay at Merlin's place. It's even more cute and cozy than shown in the pictures. Every single thing that we could need during our stay was available and just cannot find a fault with anything. They were really accomodating with our requests as well. The best part is that it's a bare 3 mins walk to the beach and the Bongo beach shack has the most amazing sunset view. Highly recommended to stay here if you're looking for a homely, no-fuss stay."

Our most spacious home: an open studio with a big couch, a queen bed, a dining table that doubles as a desk, a separate kitchen and 87 Mbps wifi. The beach is a two-minute walk — out the gate, down the lane and along our family's path, past the pool and my brother's Bongo shack.Relax, work a little, play at the beach a lot. Then come home to your porch in the tropical garden. One guest called it a warm hug after a long day.

"If you’re looking for a place in this location - look no further. I guarantee this is the best place. Comfortable apartment, 2 mins walk to the pool (best one we saw in north Goa), a further 2 mins walk to the beach where Bongos shack is.
Merlin and Austin helped connect us to a taxi driver from the airport and who was amazing. We ended up asking him to take us around Goa for the day a few days later and then back to the airport. We were looked after by the host and their family / friends so well as two female travellers. We felt safe, relaxed and comfortable."
